 Eight qualified Yoga teachers, mainly influenced by B.K.S. Iyengar, instruct at the Yogazentrum Akazienhof. Vinod Dulal, who worked with Iyengar at the institute in Pune for many years, has been teaching in Berlin every year since 1992 and has brought more flow into our style.
Precision as well as the defined execution of the positions (Asanas) and the correction of each student are at the forefront of this physically oriented style of Hatha Yoga. We want to make the principles of correct posture, movement and grounding so intelligible that they may also take root in everyday life. This is the only way the awareness and understanding for one's own body can deepen. At the same time the instructions support the development of strength and endurance as well as mobility, co-ordination and concentration. The powerful and dynamic classes close with a relaxation phase, which allows for a deep letting go of body and mind.
